On 10th (3:30-4:30pm) and 11th November (9:30-10:30am) we will be having a coat swap! We would be very grateful for any coat donations you may have in the run up, as the coats will be free on the day. Please bring any you may have into Reception. Thank you!

Our Margate Satellite Class have been selected to have an art piece displayed in the Turner Contemporary Gallery in Margate! The sculpture is called ‘The Weight of Responsibility’ and has been selected to be in this years’ Portfolio Exhibition. It explores the theme of Climate Crisis from a child’s perspective. The children were inspired by the work of artist Oscar Murillo, whose work they saw previously at the Turner Margate. This free exhibition goes live from Saturday 27th May and will be on display until Sunday 10th September.

Coffee Cart Enterprise will be open Tuesday-Friday and be running from the horse box behind the bike racks.

On Friday 25th November 2022, we will be holding a Makaton taster session at The Beacon Folkestone for parents and carers of pupils at the school.

A Kin-ball event was held at the Sports Trust’s Three Hills site on Tuesday 18th October 2022 in conjunction with the Kent School Games, Folkestone School Games, and The Beacon School. 

All children in Years R to 11 have been invited for their annual flu vaccination. Please find a copy of the letter and accompanying information leaflet here.

School dinners are payable at £2.40 per day, unless children are in Years R, 1, or 2 or are eligible for free school meals.
