As part of the French Enrichment afternoon this term, we enjoyed spending some time learning about some famous French features (Dune du Pilat, Pont du Gard, Musée du Louvre, Stade de France…) and drawing or decorating some 2D models of these features. We also tasted some “Bonne Maman” tartelettes, some madeleines and drank Grenadine (French cordial made with various red fruits that is mixed with water).
In November, 3 pupils went to play Boccia at St Anselm’s to represent the Beacon.
With Compass, 3 pupils have been out map reading on a couple of occasions. It has been constructive and educational.
A pupil from Kenya has now joined the “forest school” group on the Tuesday and she is enjoying this new experience.
