Students acquire new skills in KS5

Since September the 6th form motor mechanics group, have experienced many elements of the motor trade, with ‘hands on’ activities. During this term students have worked on panel replacement as well as removal and replacement of steering and braking components. Additionally our students have enjoyed learning about different job roles found within the motor industry.

During 2018 students will be looking forward to moving onto acquiring new skills, mainly with engine components and finally, learning how to mix and apply paint finishes, using state of the art equipment which includes spray booths and specialist PPE.
