Safer Internet Day 2017
On 7th February the school took part in Safer Internet Day. It aims to promote the safe and responsible use of technology for young people.
This year’s theme was to explore how photos are shared online and how they can potentially stay there forever and may reach a wider audience than they intended.
Zone 2 pupils attended an assembly led by Mr. Fairhall and then took part in a number of activities around this theme.
One activity was a photo booth. Pupils chose from a selection of different hats and accessories before posing for a photo. Another activity was creating Avatars. Sixth Form students helped younger pupils create them on the computer.
