Pancakes were on the menu, not only in The Beacon teaching kitchens but also at The Beacon Wood.
Traditional lemon and sugar was provided as well as other more imaginative toppings. Botswana class incorporated pancake making into their normal curriculum activities, and indulged in some flipping of the pancakes they had skilfully created.
Whilst down in Beacon Wood, timber had to be prepared, and the fire lit. Very stringent safety procedures are in place for cooking on an open fire. Staff are always on hand to supervise these activities and ensure appropriate outcomes for our pupils.
A gallery can been viewed below that shows images taken during the fun and games.
