Makaton Taster Session for Parents
On Friday 25th November 2022, we will be holding a Makaton taster session at The Beacon Folkestone for parents and carers of pupils at the school.
The purpose of the Makaton taster session is to raise awareness of Makaton and to help people understand what Makaton is, who uses it and how they can learn it.
It is not the full training, although you will go home having learnt a number of signs.
This session will empower people and highlight the importance of Makaton in the school community.
When: Friday 25th November 2022
Time: 1.30 – 3.00 pm
Where: The Beacon Folkestone conference room.
