Italy – Great Fire of London
This term Italy class have been learning about the Great Fire of London. The pupils have created some fantastic artwork of London in flames, some pupils also retold the story with lego props!
‘’One night a fire started in a bakers shop in Pudding Lane. The baker had to jump out of the window into the River Thames. The fire spread throughout the houses of London and many houses were burnt or fell down. Some people were sadly killed in the fire. After a few horrible days the fire was stopped. London town was rebuilt once again!‘’
Pupils used their hands to create orange, yellow, and red swirling flames. They then stuck a black cut-out silhouette of London’s buildings to create some beautiful images.
