Costa Rica swim their way to Medway Park

This term Costa Rica made 3D shapes and Fraction Pizzas. We also competed in the Kent Panathlon swimming event at Medway Park!

This term as part of the Maths subject curriculum the students of Costa Rica made their own 3D shapes and fraction pizzas to enable them to gain a practical understanding of the subject content being taught.

Eight students from Costa Rica went to Medway Park to compete in the Kent Panathlon swimming event. The pupils were great and praised by the organisers for their effort, behaviour and sportsmanship.

We had two students in a team that won the gold and six students formed a team that tied for bronze. They all received certificates, and we were given framed certificates and trophies for the school as well as branded towels. The winning team will now go on to the finals in July, which will be held at the Olympic swimming pool in Stratford!
