Canada: Class News

We are excited to have our own piece of garden this year, and have been careful to check on our carrots that we began growing just before the summer holiday. We had to sow the seeds, prepare our plot, plant the seedlings and check on their progress.

Canada Class pupils and staff have been enjoying the build-up to Christmas. We had a lovely day at Dobbies in Ashford where we investigated the Christmas decorations, lights, gifts and many sensory experiences. We always enjoy looking at the fish, and we were surprised to even see a reindeer – although it moved, it wasn’t real!!! We had really great fun trying on the novelty glasses.

We have also been busy recently preparing for our part in the Christmas performance, and doing lots of arts and crafts to produce things to sell in the Christmas fair.
