Autumn Term in France
France’s topics in terms 1 and 2 have been “Houses and Homes” and the “Local Area”
We designed and made houses and learnt about different types of homes. We explored the concept and understanding of a “place” the meaning of “where we are,” and we explored our school and a local village. France loved celebrating the Harvest Festival by singing their favourite song, “Dingle Dangle Scarecrow.”
Towards the end of term, the children enjoyed a special treat by “Boogie Bounce,” where they got to bounce on mini trampolines to music. Co-ordination, exercise and fun was had by all!
