A fantastic start to 2017 for Seychelles and Nicaragua

We have joined in some wonderful experiences during the spring terms, starting with a trip to the panto to see Jack and the Beanstalk, which we thoroughly enjoyed.

We have been using our hydrotherapy pool to complement and consolidate skills needed for our swimming sessions at Folkestone pool. And we enjoyed the Dragon Parade for Chinese New Year.

This term a new friend called Harvey the therapy dog came to visit – he is very calm and friendly, and very fluffy! We are also joining in whole zone assemblies with our peers around the school, and meeting new friends.

Throughout the school year we have been working very hard on our communication and interaction skills using 1:1 and group learning, such as phonics. In Art this term we are exploring mixing colours, and observing the result. So far we have created some lovely patterns and effects using primary colours.

We are also exploring everyday materials found at school and outdoors around the site. We will be making pieces of transient art based on the work of Andy Goldsworthy.

Wishing you all a Happy Easter from Seychelles and Nicaragua classes.
