The Beacon school are hosting an exciting festival of art and music for young people with additional needs, aptly named BeaconFest.
Students from KS4- Freddie, Lucy and James represented Kent in the South East Regional Finals at Surrey Sports Park yesterday and they won Gold winning all of their games!
Entries are now open for this years London Mini-Marathon. This event is aimed at young people aged 11-17 with physical or sensory impairments.
As part of Red Nose Day this year, the school would like to encourage all pupils to wear something red, including a red nose! Please see the letter below.

The Beacon would like to invite you all to our monthly coffee mornings, whether you have a child with a diagnosis, are waiting for a diagnosis or just want to learn more about autistic spectrum condition please come along and enjoy a coffee and chat with other parents and carers. The Beacon has held its own pumpkin competition today which has meant many classes have been busy carving pumpkins with the goal of winning the competition. There has been very strong competition and everyone has been very competitive. Every class that competed has created a fantastic pumpkin and should be very proud of their efforts. This has made judging very hard! After a long debate the results are in, the winners are…. GRENADA.. CONGRATULATIONS!. In second place we have GAMBIA In third is TANZANIA
