Senegal Class: Newsletter

The students from Senegal class invited their families to Morning Tea in our Life Skills House on Thursday, 30th November 2017. All the students prepared Morning Tea snacks during cookery lessons especially for their families.

During our Morning Tea the families had a chance to meet their children’s classmates, their parents and the staff who support the students on daily basis.

Our young people were delighted to meet with all the families, serve them Morning Tea and have a conversation with them. Making drinks and snacks, interacting and developing communication skills are among our students’ targets they work on in order to achieve their OCR Life and living skills qualification. Thus our Morning Tea was a great opportunity for our young people to practise in another context the skills they develop at school.

Everybody enjoyed our Morning Tea in the Life Skills House.
