New life in The Beacon Science Pond

With a rare day of sunshine we managed to have a brief look at how the Science Pond has been developing.

Clearly the severe winter has had little effect, and large areas of Frog Spawn are thriving.

Pupils are eagerly awaiting our Science Enrichment Day due to take place on the 25th May. Weather permitting, one activity will be ‘Pond Dipping’.
