Ivory Coast: Mudpie Pottery Studios

Students in Ivory Coast have been busy learning about the artist Clarice Cliff. To end the project the class went to the Mudpie Pottery Studio in Sandgate to paint their own Clarice Cliff replicas.

This time, the students have been filming a silent video campaigning against the illegal trade of Ivory. Messages have been made up using posters, pictures, images and body parts. This campaign video is the last of three films the students have made for their Bronze Arts Awards and once edited this one will join the other two completed videos. Behind the scenes students have contained to learn about the film making process, including editing, equipment and the roles of the various people on a film set.
