First Gig at The Beacon!

It was a fantastic opportunity for the students to socialise and experience what a rock concert would be like. There were 4 external bands that performed half an hour sets for the students. First on was singer/songwriter Nancy Okai who relaxed the evening in with some chilled out covers. Next the tempo was raised by the Chiefs of Eden who played a mixture of metal covers and a few of their own tracks. Third on was a few different groups from Folkestone Academy who played a range of covers. Finally, the headline act, Tropes, took to the stage to end the night.

As a team, we would like to thank Wards Hotel and all of their bands for their kindness. It was thoroughly enjoyable for all.
