Austria Class: Newsletter Term 2

We used a variety of exciting textures to enable us to explore our senses, for example we used confectionary to make a firework picture and different colours of fruit to make prints in Art. We also explored colour and smell by conducting a sensory analysis of a variety of herbs and spices in Science. We explored a variety of flowers and made comparisons of colour, size and smell, and then we planted our very own ‘woodland meadow’ bulbs in the sensory garden. We look forward to seeing them appear in the spring! Austria class is looking forward to exploring the colours of Christmas and are having a few outings to the shops to enable us to reinforce the learning outside of the classroom.
